Gizzfest, the hilariously-named brainchild of Melbourne outfit King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, has dropped its 2016 lineup and it’s a good’n.
Joining festival curators The Gizz this time around are psych-rock kings Pond, US singer-songwriter White Fence AKA Tim Presley, Aussie rockers The Murlocs, American funk-psych group Mild High Club, as well as Stonefield, Orb, Jaala, Boulevards and Dinner.
King Gizzard have also dished up the dates that the festival will be taking over each city, with 2016’s Gizzfest kicking off on Friday, 25th November in Brisbane, before heading to Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide and finally wrapping things up Sunday, 4th December in Perth.
Unlike last year, the same lineup will play most dates, with the exception of Stonefield, Orb and Jaala who’ll be playing Sydney and Melbourne only.
After a successful 2015 debut, we hadn’t heard much about Gizzfest until King Gizzard posted to Facebook last week, revealing that the event would be back for its second romp in 2016.
Catch all the deets about this year’s instalment below, yo.
